The patchwork foot with guide #57 differs from the patchwork foot #37 due to its side-mounted guide rail.
It is therefore particularly suitable for patchwork work with a 6 mm (1/4 inch) or 3 mm (1/8 inch) seam allowance. Other precise sewing techniques that require an exact straight seam also benefit from the patchwork foot with guide #57. The stop is positioned directly on the fabric edge or sewing line. This achieves straight distances and lines when sewing.
