Artful quilting with cords
With the cord sewing inserts, yarns, cords, woollen or felt threads can be creatively sewn onto your project. Easy to sew on either along a perspex template or freehand. The inserts are to be used with the adjustable ruler foot #72 and are attached to the underside of the foot sole. Thanks to the high-quality materials, they are very robust and also protect the surface particularly well when quilting with metallic cords and cords.
The three inserts with hole diameters of 1.4, 1.8 and 2.2 mm are suitable for thin, medium and thick cords.
Important: The inserts lengthen the foot (+3.5 mm). To prevent collisions with the throat plate, the foot height should be set to the minimum using the adjustment wheel (from 4 mm to 0 mm) before attaching the foot.
