The buttonhole slide foot #3A uses a sensor on the presser foot to determine the buttonhole length and transmits the values to the sewing machine. This allows absolutely identical buttonholes to be sewn until the value is changed. The buttonhole slide foot #3A is therefore ideal for making buttonhole borders on garments and home textiles.
