The patchwork foot #37D was designed for straight stitches and is therefore ideal for sewing with 3 or 6 mm wide seam allowances. A large contact surface provides increased support for patchwork and other precision work. The patchwork foot #37D also has three side markings at equal distances. These are used for optimised orientation, for example when inserting parts at an angle when patchworking. The flat foot sole with a narrow groove is used as a thread release.
