The patchwork foot #97D from BERNINA is designed for sewing straight lines and is ideal for sewing with 6 mm (1/4 inch) or 3 mm (1/8 inch) seam allowances and for topstitching. It is available for BERNINA sewing machines with a maximum stitch distance of 9 mm and dual feed. The contact surface of the foot sole is perfectly adapted to the sewing material feed system and enables extremely careful material guidance and stitch guidance when joining patchwork pieces on a BERNINA 9 mm sewing machine with dual feed.

Movable guide rail
The movable guide rail is placed on the sewing bed of the machine. Use this guide to sew perfectly straight 6 mm hems. It is particularly helpful for beginners, but also provides additional security for experienced patchwork sewers.

The straight stitch plate is recommended for use in conjunction with the patchwork foot. The patchwork foot #97D has an optional movable guide rail. If the patchwork foot #97D is included as a standard accessory of a BERNINA machine, the guide rail must be purchased separately.
