The stitch on blindstitch foot #5 is sewn over a special guide plate, so it is sewn on rather loosely and lies nice and flat. When the material is smoothed out, the stitches on the front close and the seam becomes almost invisible. The guide plate also ensures an even distance from the folded edge when sewing and the hem is finished evenly and neatly. The blindstitch foot #5 is suitable for practically all materials. It can also be used with the left or right needle position for narrow-edged topstitching of medium-weight and thick fabrics.
