Based on the top model of the versatile b30 series, the b38 Yaya Han offers numerous comfort functions such as adjustable presser foot pressure, automatic thread trimmer and a stitch width of 7 mm - ideal to support you in every phase of your project.
A carefully selected set of presser feet allows you to work with a wide variety of materials - from fine fabrics to robust materials such as artificial leather or thermoplastics. The top feed foot ensures even fabric feed, even with multiple layers or difficult textiles.

The affordable top model in the bernette sewing machine series with a wide range of functions
This computerised sewing machine offers a wide range of functions and is reasonably priced - leaving nothing to be desired. It has 394 different stitches, including stretch stitches for stretchy fabrics. This means you can conjure up great T-shirts from jersey, for example. The bernette 38 also has eight different one-step buttonholes and three alphabets. It also has a memory that allows you to save different combinations of patterns and have them ready to hand when you take a break from sewing. Would you like to be able to adjust the sewing speed? No problem! The bernette 38 has a practical speed regulator that can be set via the display. As a top model, this sewing machine also impresses with a bright LED sewing light, a threader and an automatic and manual thread cutter. The bernette 38 also comes with eight different presser feet (soles) and a large slide-on table as standard.
Automatic limiting of the twin needle
When you switch from a single needle to a twin needle, the "twin needle button" helps you to adjust your needle to the presser foot so that neither needle accidentally hits the presser foot and breaks off while sewing. The "Twin needle safety" function limits the stitch width so that the needles do not hit the presser foot.
Adjust the presser foot pressure to the material
For some materials, such as light and thin fabrics, it is advisable to adjust the presser foot pressure individually. Your bernette 38 has this practical function.
Automatic thread cutter and finishing function
When you reach the end of a seam, you need to sew the thread at the end so that the seam does not come undone again. This is usually done by sewing backwards briefly and then forwards again. With the bernette 38, however, you don't have to do this because it has an automatic sewing function. Simply press the sew button and the seam end is automatically sewn. When you are finished with your sewing project, press the button for the automatic thread cutter and you can pull your sewing project out from under the needle without using scissors.
Push-on table for large sewing projects included
The included extension table can be easily attached and detached from your bernette 38 sewing machine and offers you more space for large sewing projects such as clothing, quilts or curtains.
The right presser foot for every application
Your bernette 38 comes with eight presser foot soles and a sturdy presser foot shaft. Depending on what you want to sew, you can choose the right presser foot. For example, you can choose the zigzag foot for your zigzag stitches, the matching satin foot for satin stitches and the buttonhole foot for buttonholes. With the right feet, you can complete your sewing projects quickly and with good stitch quality.
